About the Role

St Peters Lutheran College is seeking a dedicated and experienced Administrator Physical Security to work as part of the Facilities and Services Team, ensuring the management and guardianship of the College’s people, built assets, grounds and facilities.

The role will include a strong technical component such as conducting investigations and evidence gathering, traffic management, minor capital works and day to day operational requirements

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Improve and maintain policies, procedures, guidelines and standards for physical safety
  • Be first point of contact during and outside of school hours for security and emergency situations
  • On site traffic management and managing all operational and technical aspects of security operations including CCTV and alarms
  • Coordinate and manage Physical Security Contractors
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the College in particular during events such as Open Days

 

What You Bring

  • Relevant professional qualifications such as Certificate II or III in Security Operations and current Unarmed Security Officer Licence
  • Current Fire Warden and First Aid Training or willingness to obtain before commencement
  • Strong experience in operational aspects of security systems, traffic management and appropriate security incident responses
  • Experience in conducting investigations and producing clear, finding reports
  • Highly developed communication, integrity and professionalism in alignment with the College’s values and expected standards of conduct
  • Commitment to the College’s Christian ethos and values
