About the role:
  • Operate Hi-Rail equipment, excavators, and heavy machinery in a safe and effective manner
  • Conduct rail track maintenance, bulk earthworks, excavation, and drainage work
  •  Perform pre-start safety checks, routine maintenance, and minor repairs
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety and rail industry standards
  • Complete timesheets, job documentation, and safety
Skills and experience:
  • Construction White Card
  • Relevant plant operator (Hi-Rail, excavator, Pozitrack, etc.)
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Hi-Rail operations
 
Bonus (Preferred but not essential:
  • Rail Industry Workers Card (QLD Rail)
  • Rail Safety Workers Card (Aurizon)
  • 2 years' experience in Hi Rail plant operations
  • Provide First Aide/CPR
  • Cert II/IV Civil Construction 
  • QR Working in Electrified Territory
