What You’ll Do

  • Service and repair heavy plant and mobile equipment
  • Diagnose faults and carry out breakdown repairs
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure compliance and safety
  • Provide on-site field service support as needed
  • Complete maintenance logs and assist with parts management
  • Promote WHS best practices and participate in pre-start/toolbox talks
  • Undertake both workshop-based and site servicing (field service)
  • Collaborate with supervisors and suppliers to maintain fleet efficiency and availability
  • Promote WHS compliance and contribute to safety-focused pre-start/toolbox meetings

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 2 years post-trade experience as a Diesel Fitter (Plant)
  • Background in civil, mining, or road transport environments highly regarded
  • Trade Qualification (Cert III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent)
  • Current Driver’s Licence – HR preferred
  • White Card
  • Forklift Licence – preferred or willing to obtain
