An exciting opportunity exists for a Human Resources Manager to join our Executive Leadership team.Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for all facets of the Human Resources department, from recruitment, selection and onboarding, to learning & development, performance management and separation.The ideal candidate possesses a high level of initiative and the ability to work autonomously. This stand-alone role would suit a Human Resources professional from a Hospitality background, or HR Coordinator, ready to take the next step in their career.Your key responsibilities will include:Implementation of HR strategies and initiatives that support the organisation's business plan, with a strong focus on retentionStrategic workforce planning and analysisProviding coaching and guidance to Department Managers on various staffing mattersSupporting Department Managers in the recruitment and selection of team membersManagement of employee grievances, incidents and investigationsOnboarding of all team membersEmployee training & development with a focus on leadership growthAssist in the management of hotel Work Health and Safety, including rehabilitation and return to workPlay an active role as a member of the Executive Leadership team, executing projects and administrative functions to meet annual budgets and business plansTo be successful in this sought-after role, you will ideally possess: A minimum of 2 years' experience in Human ResourcesTertiary qualifications in Business/Human Resources or equivalent experienceExcellent computer literacy, including sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office suiteStrong oral and written communicationAbility to build strong relationships with key stakeholdersExceptional personal presentationExcellent organisational skills and time managementExperience managing Workers' Compensation claims and return-to-work processesExperience within the hospitality environment is highly regardedThe successful candidate will enjoy excellent working conditions, career development and training opportunities.
