PLC is a leading ELC to Year 12 independent day and boarding school with a focus on the development of the whole person that includes an outstanding academic tradition, an international outlook, and strong pastoral and co-curricular programs.
THE ROLE
This is a wonderful part-time (0.8 FTE), ongoing opportunity for an experienced office administration professional, to be a key point of contact and support within our Junior School office.
Our Junior School is a busy, vibrant, and dynamic environment active with staff, students, parents, and members of the broader community every day. We are seeking someone who has the aptitude and confidence to ensure the smooth and effective running of the office at all times.
You will be the first point of call on the phone, email, and Reception office, ensuring messages are relayed to students including after school care, pickup, co-curricular clubs, and early dismissal. You’ll oversee the electronic marking of student attendance rolls, keep a detailed record of the daily College Bus Roll, and ensure that staff, parents, and students receive correct information at all times.
This role works Tuesday to Friday between the hours of 8:30am and 4:30pm.
ABOUT YOU
You will be experienced in a front of house office administration role, with school experience highly regarded. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to be flexible and prioritise to meet deadlines, as well as a positive and proactive work ethic. You have a patient, warm, and friendly demeanor as the first point of contact for students, staff, and families.

You have strong attention to detail, a highly organised approach, and demonstrated IT and database management skills. Your enthusiasm and service-oriented work style will be at the forefront of your interactions with students, teachers, and the wider Junior School community.
