The Role
Are you a History enthusiast with a desire to inspire young minds and shape the historians of tomorrow?
PLC invites applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE), fixed-term position as History Teacher commencing at the start of the 2025 school year until the end of Term 2 2025, with the potential for an ongoing position thereafter.
You will confidently teach History across Years 8-10.
You will join a highly collaborative and purpose-driven team of educators, focused on the purposeful and curious pursuit of knowledge and understanding by students.
About You
You will be a qualified, experienced History Teacher, or high-quality graduate, who can teach History across all senior levels (also including the VCE or IB Diploma Programme, for the consideration of potential ongoing employment).
You will confidently guide, develop, and nurture our students’ love of learning, whilst also understanding the need for strong classroom practice and the maintenance of high standards amongst our students.
You’ll represent a positive role model for young women, be able to relate well to students, colleagues, and parents, and be committed to the integrity and ethos of the College.
