The Role
Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of business leaders? PLC is seeking a dynamic and committed educator to join our team from the start of 2026 as Head of Business Studies.
This role offers a full-time, permanent teaching appointment and a 5-year fixed term Position of Responsibility as Head of Business Studies (with the option for review and reappointment).
As the Head of Business Studies, you will lead our educational mission by shaping the Business Studies curriculum across Years 9 to 12, including VCE subjects and IB DP Economics. Your leadership will play a pivotal role in advancing curriculum development, refining teaching practices, and inspiring both students and staff to reach their full potential.
About You
You are a qualified, experienced teacher who is preferably proficient in teaching VCE Economics and Accounting.
Known as a leader and mentor, you are a contemporary and forward-thinking educator who thrives in working in a high performing school culture. You will confidently lead a Department that encompasses Economics, Accounting, Business Management, Legal Studies, Commerce and Politics.
You will represent a positive role model for young women, be able to relate well to students, colleagues and parents, and be committed to the integrity and Christian ethos of the College.
