Presbyterian Ladies' College (PLC) Melbourne is a leading ELC-Year 12 Christian independent school for girls offering both the VCE and International Baccalaureate. PLC has an outstanding academic tradition, an international focus and strong pastoral and co-curricular programs focusing on encouraging leadership, service and life-long personal development and learning.
THE ROLE
PLC is welcoming applications from Casual Relief Teachers (CRT’s) to be part of our friendly, supportive and collaborative Junior School team starting as soon as possible.
The successful candidates will need to have good flexibility to work across 5 days per week.
If you are primary teacher trained and are keen to apply your skills, passion and energy in a new school environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
CRT’s are booked ahead where possible, however candidates must also be available to take a morning call for ‘same day’ relief work if required.
Remuneration will be in accordance with the Presbyterian Ladies College Teachers Agreement.
ABOUT YOU
You will be an experienced Primary Teacher who is confident in guiding, developing and nurturing our students’ love of learning. You will be a positive role model for young women and committed to the integrity and Christian ethos of the College.
As PLC is a high performing school, you will also understand the need for strong classroom practice and the maintenance of high standards amongst our students.
If this sounds like you, please introduce yourself to us.
Please note: this is an open expression of interest to be added to our CRT talent pool. Candidates with the required background and experience will be contacted for an interview.
All staff must commit to a culture that supports and embraces Child Safe Standards. The successful applicant will be required to hold and maintain an Employee Working With Children Check (WWCC).
PLC is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment for all of its staff, where they feel welcomed, safe and respected.
