The Role
This is a full time opportunity for a seasoned Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) professional to bring their skills and expertise to the rewarding field of education.
Covering a 12-month parental leave period, the Acting OHS Manager is central to fostering a strong safety culture and ensuring a healthy and compliant work environment for all members of our school community.
You will enjoy a hands-on, people-centred role where your day-to-day focus will be managing risks, maintaining essential data and registers (covering OHS and psychosocial safety), coordinating Return to Work initiatives, overseeing incident responses and leading safety education.

About You
We welcome applications from qualified OHS practitioners (minimum degree in Work Health and Safety or similar), with strong expertise in OHS legislation, ISO standards, and Return to Work regulations.
Experience within the education sector, or similar environment with a strong focus on safety, would be well regarded.
You will confidently lead the development and ongoing enhancement of OHS strategies and processes, whilst nurturing positive, trusting relationships with the diverse range of stakeholders within our school community.
You are someone who values structure and consistency, and will take pride in upholding the well-established systems and processes that support the success of this role.
