You will provide individualised care tailored to the needs of each client and their families.      Primary responsibilities:Meal assistance, including shopping and meal preparation Transport and accompaniment, including shopping trips and appointmentsSocial support & activities, including outings and social activitiesPersonal care, including assistance with personal grooming, hygiene, bathing, dressing Provide support for health conditions, including skin care, medication reminders and diabetes managementAssistance with mobility Domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry What you will need:A kind, caring and respectful approach to service provisionCertificate III in Aged Care / Individual Support (or similar) or equivalent experience Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively in both a team environment and independently with minimal supervisionAbility to work with individuals from a range of social, financial and cultural backgroundsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCurrent driver's license and reliable carAustralian work rights Current national police check (not older than 6 months)Prior experience in a similar role in the community/home care (desirable) or Disability/Residential care First Aid Certificate (desirable)How to apply:Applications should include a resume and preferably a brief cover letter outlining your suitability for the role.
