Base hourly rate $30.11The primary purpose of the Administration Assistant (Transport and SSI) role is to assist the Service Coordinator and Service Assistant/Scheduler to ensure the delivery of high quality client focused home care services in an efficient manner. Depending on service need, it is expected that this role will also perform the role of Support Worker/Driver for Transport services on an ad hoc basis. In this role you will:Assist the Coordinators and Service Assistants by undertaking day to day administrative tasksMaintain accurate client records and data, as requestedComplete client reviews as requestedUpdate client information as required and ensure accurate information is available for staff assisting clientsAct as a first point of call for phone enquiriesAssist with service continuity by undertaking other tasks, within scope of skills, if required to cover unplanned or unexpected staff absences. This may include, driving a vehicle to facilitate transport or social supportAssist with staff and client communications in a clear and timely mannerWhat you will need:Demonstrated experience working with the elderly, people with disability and/or people experiencing hardships.A caring and compassionate approach to service provision.Knowledge of relevant community services.Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively in both a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.Ability to work with individuals from a range of social, financial and cultural backgrounds.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Basic computer skills.Current Western Australian drivers licence.Current national police clearance (not older than 6 months)NDIS Worker Screening CheckDesirable:Certificate III or IV in Health, Ageing Support, Individual Support or Community Services.Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.Experience working in a not for profit organisation.Experience working with volunteers.
