This role involves conducting thorough assessments of existing finance processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and evaluating potential tools and technologies for implementation.You will recommend necessary changes and updates to the SAP environment to support financial operations and reporting requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, supply chain, sales/marketing, and finance to ensure seamless integration of new tools and processes. Additionally, you will keep the CFO informed about the latest trends in finance technology and SAP updates to continually improve financial systems and provide training and support to finance team members on new systems and tools.This is a full-time, 12-month fixed term contract position based out of our Labrador, Gold Coast office.Key responsibilities associated with this role include: Develop and implement automation for financial planning and reporting systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Conduct thorough assessments of existing finance processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.Evaluate potential tools and technologies that can be integrated into current systems to streamline operations.Recommend necessary changes and updates to the SAP environment to support financial operations and reporting requirements.Collaborate with IT, supply chain, sales/marketing, and finance to ensure seamless integration of new tools and processes.Provide the CFO with updates on the latest trends in finance technology and SAP updates to continually improve financial systems.Provide training and support to finance team members on new systems and tools to ensure smooth adoption and usage.Represent finance function on key technology projects.To be considered for the role, we are very keen to meet candidates who have demonstrated experience in or recent exposure to:Tertiary qualifications in finance or accounting or IT.Proficient in SAP and ERP transformation projects.Data analytics.Excellent data analysis skills and the ability to interpret financial data.Experience in automating financial processes and systems.Strong project management and organizational skills.Why should you join the team at Norco?
