About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and flexible Shift Maintenance Fitter to join our team at the recently rebuilt Lismore Ice Cream Factory. In this role, you will be responsible for the ongoing delivery of preventative and corrective maintenance as part of the factory’s maintenance team.
This is a full-time, permanent position that requires the ability to work a flexible roster, including after-hours call-outs as needed.
You’ll Be a Great Fit If You Have:
- A strong sense of urgency and can complete tasks in a timely manner
- A Trade Certificate in Mechanical Fitting and Machining
- Experience in machine maintenance and fault-finding
- Stainless steel fabrication skills â TIG welding
- A proactive and diligent attitude
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience with packaging machinery
- A Refrigeration Certificate (preferred)
- Experience with machine installations
- Pneumatics experience
- An understanding of food manufacturing processes and hygiene requirements
- Dairy manufacturing experience (highly regarded)
