Norco are currently seeking an experienced Production Operator to join the team at our busy milk processing factory in Labrador on the Gold Coast. Employment will be on a full-time basis, including day, afternoon, night and weekend shift work. The ideal candidate will have previous machine operator experience and will be motivated and committed to a career in food manufacturing. We are particularly interested in speaking to candidates with pasteuriser experience.

Key responsibilities of this position:
- Set up equipment and operate production machinery as required.
- Perform minor equipment maintenance to ensure production capacity and quality.
- Ensure that all food safety, quality assurance, and GMP policies and procedures are strictly adhered to.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
- Ensure the work area is clean, safe and organised.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Sound understanding of work place health and safety and the ability to work in a safe manner
- Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment highly desirable
- Understanding of food manufacturing processes and hygiene requirements
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude as well as advanced problem solving skills
- The ability to work in a team environment
- Willingness to work shift work and rotating rosters
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated punctuality and reliability
- Ability to accurately complete paperwork with good attention to detail
- Sound communication, literacy and numeracy skills and computer skills
- Understanding and commitment to continuous improvement activities

- Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment medical, including a Drug & Alcohol test
