We are seeking a reliable, motivated and safetyâfocused Mill Hand to join the team at our AgriSolutions Animal Nutrition Stockfeed Mill in Lismore, NSW.
This role is primarily based in the feed mill, supporting daily production and site operations. From time to time, you may also provide backâup truck driving support to assist with customer deliveries when required. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys handsâon work in a manufacturing environment and is happy to step into driving duties as needed.
About the Role:
Your core focus will be supporting feed production, site operations and safety across the mill and yard.
Occasionally, you may be required to assist with the safe delivery of stock feed and agricultural products to customers across the Northern Rivers region, including areas from Tweed Heads to Coffs Harbour, particularly during peak periods or to cover leave.
This is a physical, handsâon role involving manual handling, forklift operation and working safely around plant and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Feed Mill & Site Operations (Primary Focus)
- Operate feed mill equipment, including bagging and palletising lines.
- Assist with production activities, ingredient handling and stock movement.
- Forklift operation for receivals, dispatch and yard movements.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety.
- Support general mill and yard operations as required.
BackâUp Transport & Deliveries (As Required)
- Safely operate heavy vehicles including auger trucks, when needed.
- Load, transport and deliver agricultural products and stock feed.
- Support local and regional delivery routes across the Northern Rivers.
- Complete vehicle checks and delivery documentation.
- Maintain safety, compliance and customer service standards while driving.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in manufacturing, feed mill, logistics or transport environments.
- Min HR driver’s licence (required for backâup driving duties).
- Forklift licence or willingness to obtain.
- Strong safety mindset and reliable work history.
- Physically fit with sound manual handling knowledge.
- Flexible, adaptable and comfortable working across different tasks.
- Good communication and timeâmanagement skills.
