An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and enthusiastic Maintenance & Reliability Manager to join the team at our busy milk manufacturing company in Raleigh!  As the Maintenance & Reliability Manager, you will be responsible for leading a skilled maintenance team of 11 fitters, electricians and affiliated staff and ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all of plant, equipment and services for the site.Your focus will be on preventive maintenance, timely response to equipment issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. As the Maintenance & Reliability Manager, you will be responsible for leading a skilled maintenance team of 11 fitters, electricians and affiliated staff and ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all of plant, equipment and services for the site.

What you will bring to the role:

  • 5+ years experience in leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment with tight deadlines
  • Trade, asset and reliability or engineering qualifications considered favourably
  • Demonstrated skills in use of Root Cause Analysis tools.
  • Project management experience in generating business cases, sourcing and delivery of maintenance projects
  • Experience in delivering safe work systems and monitoring adherence
  • Exposure to food manufacturing and the related food quality systems
  • A positive, consultative and engaging leadership style
