Network Operations Controller

Expressions of interest are sought for a suitably qualified individual to join the Network Operations Team as a full-time Network Operations Controller, located at our Sydney Head Office in Mascot.Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to multi-task and problem solve as well as being able to work as part of a team in a challenging environment are requirements of this position. Reporting:This position reports to the Network Operations Manager or his delegate.Position Responsibilities:Network OperationsOversee the daily operation of the Rex network.Liaise with all ports to ensure timely and accurate flight information is communicated.Monitor all flights for On Time Performance (OTP), accurately recording and reporting delay reasons.Monitor weather and NOTAMs that may impact operations, and escalate or act on risks accordingly.Coordinate network disruptions in collaboration with other Network Operations Centre personnel, formulating and actioning disruption plans to minimise passenger and operational impact.Coordinate all aircraft turnarounds in Sydney, including bay allocation and fuel ordering.In the event of an emergency, initiate the company response plan and support the Regional Express Emergency Response Team as directed.Perform other operational duties as directed by the Network Operations Manager or Network Operations Supervisors.Slot ManagementManage arrival slots through the Air Traffic Flow Management (ATFM) platform, seeking to minimise network delays.Manage departure slots in Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM) environments. CrewingEnsure crew compliance with all regulatory requirements, including those prescribed in the Fatigue Risk Management System (FRMS) and applicable enterprise agreements.Manage crew coverage in the event of sickness, operational disruption, or additional training requirements.Manage crew positioning (paxing), accommodation, and meal entitlements.Work with Rostering and Crew Planning teams to address training disruptions or additional qualification requirements.Support the management of crewing-related disruptions as part of an integrated Network Operations response.Perform other crewing duties as reasonably directed by the Network Operations Manager or Network Operations Supervisors.Conditions:As per the Regional Express Airlines Services Collective Agreement - Level 8.To Apply:Please forward your resume and covering letter addressing the above criteria by close of business Friday, 23 May 2025.
