Scope of the Role:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Perform preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance activities on machinery and equipment
  • Fault finding diagnosis on machinery and equipment
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks to identify wear and tear or potential mechanical failures
  • Diagnosing and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic system faults
  • Dismantle and reassemble mechanical parts using hand tools and power tools
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to determine specifications and ensure accurate assembly as required
  • Recording and reporting on corrective actions from maintenance requests
  • Assist production with die setting and die changeover as required

You will bring:

  • Minimum Certificate III Engineering (Mechanical) or similar
  • Previous industry experience in a maintenance role
  • Experience in the repair, maintenance and assembly of machinery and equipment
  • Sound time management skills with an ability to prioritise competing tasks
  • Current drivers licence and forklift licence
  • Yellow card for scissor and boom operation (advantageous)
  • Restricted electrical licence (advantageous)
  • Experience with Roll forming machinery (desirable)
