THE ROLE
We are seeking a passionate and relationship-focused Community Relations Manager to strengthen connections with our alumni, community groups, sponsors and supporters. Reporting to the Director of Advancement, you will lead alumni engagement, community partnerships and fundraising initiatives that support the School’s strategic priorities and long-term growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with alumni, the Old Girls Association, Parents & Friends Association, sponsors and community stakeholders.
- Growing and engaging the School’s alumni network through targeted programs, events and communications.
- Coordinating reunions, networking events and engagement initiatives.
- Developing community partnerships and sponsorship opportunities.
- Supporting fundraising and philanthropy programs, including annual giving and special projects.
- Maintaining stakeholder and donor databases, reporting on engagement outcomes, and ensuring data integrity.
- Contributing to the School’s reputation and presence within the Greater Ipswich community.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in alumni relations, stakeholder engagement, community engagement, fundraising or a similar field.
- A proven ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Experience coordinating events, programs or community initiatives.
- Excellent communication, organisational and project management skills.
- Experience using CRM systems or stakeholder databases.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A collaborative, professional and proactive approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (TASS experience desirable but not essential).
