As a Roadworthy Officer, you will play a key role in inspecting, assessing, and certifying vehicles, helping to maintain road safety and environmental standards.What You'll Be Doing:Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess mechanical condition and compliance with relevant roadworthy standards.Identify and report faults, safety hazards, and non-compliance issues.Issue roadworthy certificates or detailed reports of required repairs.Maintain accurate and complete inspection records.Stay updated with changes in legislation and road safety regulations.Provide excellent customer service and clear communication with vehicle owners.What We’re Looking For:Proven experience in vehicle inspections or automotive/mechanical roles.Holds an Inspection license to conduct road worthy inspections under the AIS scheme in QLDCertified/licensed to issue roadworthy certificates (as required in your jurisdiction).Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, safety regulations, and inspection criteria.Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Good communication and customer service skills.Valid driver’s license.Why join CarPlace?Gone are the days of distrust and worry associated with used cars.
