About the roleAs our Digital Content Creator, you will produce engaging and entertaining video content for the club’s multiple digital platforms, including but not limited to website, app, and social media. The content you create will provide Essendon members with behind-the-scenes access, compelling stories, match-day content and news. You will also provide digital support to the club’s multiple departments.Reporting to the Digital Agency Manager, you will also:Be involved in the day-to-day roll out of all EFC content.Build new, innovative formats of content across many platforms, including a focus on snackable content for social media channels.Help manage all teams (AFL, AFLW, VFL, VFLW and VWFL) content.Produce content for club events and match days.About youYou will have a background in creating engaging, up-to-date content. You’ll be an excellent communicator who has a natural creative, sharp and strategic mind that can hit the ground running. You’ll pride yourself in your skills of Adobe Suite and your knowledge of web-based content management systems. Having design, writing, social media and video/photography experience is encouraged, as well as having a sound knowledge of emerging platforms such as TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. Alongside your skills, you’ll have a strong work ethic and a preparedness to work irregular hours according to the demands of a professional football industry, including evenings, weekends and potential interstate travel.The PerksOur work doesn’t always fit the 9 to 5.
