South East Account Manager â Concrete â
Regional Group Australia (RGA) are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team based in South-East Melbourne, VIC.
The Account Manager will maintain and grow relationships with all customer segments for Concrete within the Regional Group Victoria area while achieving assigned sales and profit growth goals. The Account Manager is expected to retain existing business and expand the Group’s market share. â
The role involves supporting Regional Group’s product and service offering to both account and non-account customers in the Victoria area, with a focus on growth opportunities. Interaction with customers will occur through telephone, email, and face-to-face meetings. â
Duties will include:
- Retain market share, sales, and profitability through proactive stewardship of the group’s relationship with assigned customer accounts across all segments. â
- Penetrate assigned accounts by selling new or additional products or services to current clients and/or finding additional clients within the geographical region of Victoria.
- Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success. â
- Develop positive relationships with clients. â
- Act as the point of contact and handle customers’ individual needs. â
- Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks. â
- Conduct site visits during product delivery to support both team and client requirements, ensuring product quality and responsiveness to climatic and specific site conditions. â
- Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner. â
- Report on the status of accounts and transactions. â
- Set and track sales account targets aligned with company objectives. â
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters. â
- Frequent travel will be required across the Melbourne Region
- Company vehicle provided
Knowledge and experience required:
- Current Drivers licence
- Previous experience in sales preferred but not
- Superior written and verbal communication
- Listens, understands, and adapts to an audience and can communicate clearly and persuasively
- Proven ability to build effective relationships with key internal and external
stakeholders across all business units and on major projects - Takes ownership of outcomes, and can balance accuracy with timeliness
