Reporting to the Testing and Commissioning Manager, your main objective will be to ensure that all T&C requirements are identified, tracked, and scheduled in alignment with project obligations. The role requires extensive stakeholder engagement, and you’ll collaborate closely with internal project teams, contractors, suppliers, and key stakeholders to coordinate planning and verification activities, monitor progress, and address any issues or challenges that may arise.This is an opportunity set your T&C career on a higher trajectory in a client-side position on a challenging and stimulating legacy infrastructure project that features a range of systems and technologies new to Queensland and Australia. This opportunity is offered as a contract until December 2026 with possible extension. Key Responsibilities:Ensure the Testing and Commissioning requirements are met by the suppliers and relevant parties through the project phases leading up to and including trial running and trial operations.Ensure successful integration of rail systems and mechanical/electrical systems within the stations to support trial operations.Support integration, testing and commissioning activities to achieve acceptance of systems by providing facilitation, guidance, support, and review of the integration / T&C deliverables.Liaise with stakeholders to align T&C plans, processes, and procedures, identifying and addressing gaps.Liaise, collaborate, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure the integration/T&C obligations are being performed according to program.Provide support and advice including interpretation of requirements and standards, test hierarchy / test coverage, system integration functions, and test result impacts.Provide guidance to suppliers on the implementation of T&C activities including factory, site, static and dynamic testing.Support the governance and reporting on integration/T&C activities.Actively identify and mitigate risks and issues related to the T&C program. About You:Extensive experience in integration and testing/commissioning within a railway construction environment, including dynamic testing and station systems.Previous experience in either a testing and commissioning leadership position or as a client representative is desirable.Ability to work independently, exercise initiative and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.Knowledge and experience with applicable systems engineering and assurance standards, familiarisation of rail transport operator safety management system (or equivalent).Highly developed relationship management with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to influence a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to provide clear and concise written and verbal communication.Interstate relocation assistance available for successful candidate. Why work with CRRDA?On Cross River Rail you will not only work with the best but become your best.
