It includes the delivery of four new underground stations, two new above-ground stations, accessibility rebuilds for six stations, the construction of three new stations on the Gold Coast, and the introduction of a new world-class ‘ETCS' signalling system.This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to work on one of Australia's largest infrastructure projects and to be a part of something that will leave a lasting legacy for generations to come.About the RoleThe Testing and Commissioning Delivery Supervisor provides oversight, coordination and technical support for testing and commissioning activities relating to Cross River Rail systems and infrastructure to ensure their successful implementation. This is an exciting opportunity for a Testing and Commissioning professional to work in a client side position and collaborate with a wide range of project stakeholders including our internal project teams, Queensland Rail, contractors, suppliers, consultancies and regulatory bodies. The position is predominately field based, working across Cross River Rail construction sites across Brisbane and our Systems Integration Lab to ensure T&C activities are being conducted according to program and in adherence to project standards and requirements. You will be the key interface and escalation for the coordination of on the day and upcoming T&C works, reviewing test plans in advance to ensure they can be executed.This position will require working shifts which will generally be either day (6am to 2pm) or afternoon (2pm to 10pm) during a standard working week. Flexibility will be required to work occasional night and weekend shifts to support the timing of planned T&C activities. Key Responsibilities:Interface between project teams, stakeholders, and contractors for upcoming testing activities.Analyse T&C schedules and plans to ensure they can be seamlessly executed within allocated time frames and identify potential gaps and issues.Support the planning and coordination of T&C activities by working with contractors and stakeholders to ensure they can deliver on their responsibilities and commitments including resource allocation and agreed time frames.Ensure there is alignment for proposed T&C plans, processes and procedures among suppliers and stakeholders. Ensure all parties are in agreeance on and understand individual roles and responsibilities in relation to test coverage.Provide supervision and oversight of T&C activities ensuring that contractors and stakeholders are conducting activities in accordance with project obligations.Review T&C outputs for quality and irregularities escalating or requesting re-tests where appropriate.Provide technical guidance and support to contractors and consultants in relation to fault finding, interpretation of requirements, key risks, test hierarchy and coverage, T&C gaps and test results impacts.Act as an escalation point for contractors and consultants on site who are unable to continue or complete scheduled T&C activities to help them work through issues.Attend collaborative workshops with T&C stakeholders.Provide regular updates and reporting as requested.Attend T&C Risk Management meetings and contribute to the identification of risks and issues and mitigation strategies.About You:Technical experience in performing testing and commissioning activities of integrated systems (CCTV, access control, signaling, etc) throughout the project lifecycle in a rail project environment. Underground rail or ETCS experience highly regarded. Experience in the coordination and supervision of multi-discipline site-based T&C resources. Tester in Charge qualification well regarded.Ability to maintain effective communication lines, stakeholder management, influence and negotiation with varied project stakeholders and technical disciplines.Problem-solving ability, initiative, and adaptability to changing priorities.Knowledge and experience with applicable rail systems engineering and assurance standards.
