Cross River Rail will transform the way we travel to, from and through Brisbane in the future. It will be a catalyst for 10 years of wider rail transformation across the whole of South East Queensland and it is already playing a key role in how we prepare for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Cross River Rail is a new 10.2km rail line including 5.9km of twin tunnels running under the Brisbane River and CBD. It includes the delivery of four new underground stations, two new above-ground stations, accessibility rebuilds for six stations, the construction of three new stations on the Gold Coast, and the introduction of a new world-class ‘ETCS' signalling system.

About the Role
As Systems Integration Manager you will act as a key advisor and provides critical leadership and strategic direction on the integration and testing and commissioning of complex rail systems for the Cross River Rail (CRR) Project. The position plays a central role in ensuring that systems such as TVS, ETCS, TMS, ATO, PSD, CCTV, PIS, BMS and Station Systems are successfully integrated as part of the Routeway and Route to Acceptance strategy. Working closely with a diverse range of stakeholders, including Queensland Rail (QR) and our delivery partners, you will lead discussions on system interface requirements, provide guidance and ensure alignment across various integration activities.
Your role will be to ensure a unified approach to systems integration processes and you will lead problem-solving integration groups, working collaboratively across multiple disciplines to address complex integration challenges and managing interface issues. The role also provides technical support on Testing and Commissioning (T&C) matters, ensuring that all integration and testing obligations are met through all phases of the project, up to trial running and operations.
This position requires a deep understanding of rail systems, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to lead and influence across complex technical environments, ensuring that the Cross River Rail Project meets its critical integration and operational readiness objectives., This opportunity is offered as a contract until December 2026 with possible extension.
