With a focus on surface rail infrastructure including track works, stabling yards, conventional signalling and above ground stations. Working closely with the Unity Alliance and other key project stakeholders, you’ll manage, monitor and maintain program schedules, ensuring alignment with project timelines and deliverables.You will also support risk assessment activities and provide critical scheduling insights that contribute to the projects overall success. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with complex, high-impact infrastructure planning, requiring both technical expertise and strong communication skills. This opportunity will be offered as a contract until December 2026 with possible extension and based out of our corporate offices in Brisbane’s CBD. Key Responsibilities:Collaborative Project Planning: Partner with Unity Alliance planning teams to design and maintain RIS Project Schedules, ensuring integrated, collaborative planning across surface rail activities.Scheduling & Risk Management: Provide specialised scheduling support, including Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA) and risk mitigation strategies.Data-Driven Analysis: Execute Critical Path Method (CPM) and Earned Value (EV) Analysis to identify key risks and manage schedule performance against established timelines.Guidance & Compliance: Offer guidance to Unity Alliance planners, ensuring adherence to the Delivery Authority’s scheduling requirements to ensure timely project delivery.Schedule Development & Maintenance: Develop and maintain project schedules and outputs in Primavera P6, Excel, and Power BI ensuring accuracy and alignment against key project and contractual milestones.Time-Chainage Chart Support: Develop and maintain the RIS Time-Chainage chart, covering critical project activities by time and location.Comprehensive Reporting: Contribute to weekly, monthly, and quarterly planning and scheduling reports.Continuous Process Improvement: Engage in ongoing refinement of program controls and project management plans to enhance efficiency, reporting accuracy, and project outcomes. About You:Extensive experience in collaborative planning and scheduling for complex infrastructure projects, preferably within the rail sector.Experience in planning, scheduling and schedule risk analysis within both program and project management environments using Primavera P6.Ability to integrate schedule and cost data to perform Critical Path Method (CPM) and Earned Value (EV) analysis.Well-developed analytical skills with the ability to analyse and report relevant data.
