It includes the delivery of four new underground stations, two new above-ground stations, accessibility rebuilds for six stations, the construction of three new stations on the Gold Coast, and the introduction of a new world-class ‘ETCS' signalling system.This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to work on one of Australia's largest infrastructure projects and to be a part of something that will leave a lasting legacy for generations to come.About the RoleThe MEP Testing & Commissioning Delivery Supervisor provides oversight, coordination and technical support for T&C activities relating to Cross River Rail Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) infrastructure and systems to ensure their successful implementation. Key systems will include LV Electrical and Lighting, HVAC, Fire and Tunnel Ventilation Systems. This is an exciting opportunity for a Testing and Commissioning professional to work in a client-side position and collaborate with a wide range of project stakeholders including our internal project teams Queensland Rail, contractors, suppliers, consultancies, and regulatory bodies. The position is predominately field based, working across Cross River Rail construction sites to ensure T&C activities are being conducted according to program and in adherence to project standards and requirements. You will be the key interface and escalation for the coordination of on the day and upcoming T&C works, reviewing test plans in advance to ensure they can be executed.This position will require working shifts which will generally be either day (6am – 2pm) or afternoon (2pm to 10pm) during a standard working week. Flexibility will be required to work occasional night and weekend shifts to support the timing of planned T&C activities. Reporting to the Testing and Commissioning Manager, this opportunity is offered as a contract until March 2026 with possible extension.Key Responsibilities:Act as a primary interface between internal project teams, stakeholders, and contractors, facilitating effective communication and collaboration regarding T&C activities.Analyse T&C schedules and plans to ensure they can be seamlessly executed within allocated time frames and identify potential gaps and issues.Support the planning and coordination of T&C activities by working with contractors and stakeholders to ensure they can deliver on their responsibilities and commitments including resource allocation and agreed time frames.Ensure there is alignment for proposed T&C plans, processes and procedures among suppliers and stakeholders. Ensure all parties are in agreeance on and understand individual roles and responsibilities in relation to test coverage.Provide supervision and oversight of T&C activities ensuring that contractors and stakeholders are conducting activities in accordance with project obligations.Review testing and commissioning outputs for quality and acceptance.Provide technical guidance and support to contractors in relation to fault finding, interpretation of requirements, key risks, test hierarchy and coverage, T&C gaps and test results impacts.Act as an escalation point for contractors and consultants on site who are unable to continue or complete scheduled T&C activities to help them work through issues.Provide regular updates and reporting as requested.Attend and lead collaborative meetings and workshops with stakeholders to secure agreement on T&C deliverables.About You:Technical knowledge and experience performing testing and commissioning activities within MEP project delivery or similar (CCTV, access control, ventilation, HVAC, LV lighting systems, mechanical systems, etc) throughout the full projectExperience in coordinating and supervising site-based T&C resources across multiple disciplines.Strong communication, stakeholder management, influencing, and negotiation skills.Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, initiative, and adaptability in managing T&C programs.Relevant trade qualification or engineering degree.Knowledge of assurance standards and familiarity with Queensland Rail is highly desirable.Why work with CRRDA?On Cross River Rail you will not only work with the best but become your best.
