It includes the delivery of four new underground stations, two new above-ground stations, accessibility rebuilds for six stations, the construction of three new stations on the Gold Coast, and the introduction of a new world-class ‘ETCS' signalling system.This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to work on one of Australia's largest infrastructure projects and to be a part of something that will leave a lasting legacy for generations to come.About the RoleThe purpose of the position is to support and drive timely Cross River Rail (CRR) maintenance readiness at each stage of the project's delivery configuration states through to asset handover to Queensland Rail and other returned works owners. This will involve establishing effective and collaborative working relationships with CRR delivery partners for construction and facilities maintenance and Queensland Rail.A key focus is ensuring that maintenance and asset management activities are undertaken, in accordance with contractual commitments by the relevant parties throughout the project lifecycle. Reporting to the Operational Readiness & Handover Manager, you will enjoy working from our modern corporate office in the heart of Brisbane’s CBD in a fast paced and dynamic, client-side leadership position.  This opportunity is offered as a fixed term contract until August 2026 with possible extension.Key Responsibilities:Develop and facilitate entering into the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Protocols in collaboration with stakeholders.Work with Queensland Rail to define maintenance approaches and processes for new tunnel assets, ensuring alignment with project requirements.Lead the Maintenance Advisory Group to develop O&M protocol content and facilitate entering into the O&M Protocols ahead of Maintenance phase.Collaborate with delivery partners and Queensland Rail to agree on scope clarity for all maintenance activities ensuring alignment with contractual requirements and agreements.Work with Queensland rail and FM contractor to develop the Year 1 CRR Annual Work Plan ahead of the Maintenance Phase commencement.Attend the FM Sub-Committee to report on Maintenance Advisory Group progress.Support the implementation of the FM Sub-Contractor Performance Management abatement regime working closely with stakeholders and CRRDA Legal and Commercial support functions.About You:Extensive knowledge and experience in railway asset management. Previous rail tunnel asset experience highly regarded.Proficiency in the implementation of rail maintenance best practice for preventative, and corrective maintenance.Understanding of the commercial complexities of working in a Public Private Partnership contracting model.Advanced stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills with proven ability to influence and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholder.Relevant engineering or trade qualifications.Direct experience in any of the following will be highly regarded but not essential: understanding of rail operations in Queensland, ETCS Signalling, or rail tunnel asset experience.  Why work with CRRDA?On Cross River Rail you will not only work with the best but become your best.
