It includes the delivery of four new underground stations, two new above-ground stations, accessibility rebuilds for six stations, the construction of three new stations on the Gold Coast, and the introduction of a new world-class ‘ETCS' signalling system.This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to work on one of Australia's largest infrastructure projects and to be a part of something that will leave a lasting legacy for generations to come. About the RoleThis position will work within the Customer and Network team and be responsible for working closely with Cross River Rail project teams, Queensland Rail and construction contractors to manage and coordinate the planning and sequencing of Cross River Rail project works through extended track closures. A key focus will be on extended track closures (i.e., extended track possessions) program management.Success in this position means adhering to established program management and governance frameworks to ensure Cross River Rail project works are effectively delivered in extended track closures. This involves progressing extended track closure requests through governance to justify extended track closures, and actively managing risks and changes to ensure works support the sequencing of Cross River Rail project milestones.This position reports to the Delivery Sequencing Manager and will sit within a multi-disciplinary team who will manage and coordinate the planning for extended track closures.This opportunity is offered as a two-year contract with possibility of extension. Key Responsibilities:Manage & coordinate multi-agency planning of extended track closures (i.e., extended track possessions) in accordance with an established framework.Lead Working Group discussions to support critical analysis and justification of extended track closures and conduct readiness checks. This requires regular engagement with key stakeholders, including Cross River Rail project teams, Queensland Rail, and construction contractors.Develop materials (extended track closure applications, options analysis, risk assessments, readiness checks, and reporting) for governance approvals to progress planning and assure readiness of extended track closures.Analyse technical documents to ensure extended track closure planned works support Cross River Rail project milestones, while minimising customer and network impacts.Report progress and manage issues and risks related to extended track closures and changes to planned works, escalating to the Delivery Sequencing Manager with solutions and mitigation measures. About You:The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following key competencies:Ability to monitor and track project deliverables, priorities, and coordinate activities to meet competing deadlines.Capable of interpreting complex or technical information and producing effective communication tools suited to a variety of audiences.Demonstrated ability to provide clear and concise written and verbal communication to support collaboration with a wider range of internal and external stakeholders, including experience leading stakeholder meetings.Detail oriented, with an ability to interrogate information to ensure outputs are up to date and accurate.Highly organised, with the ability to work with initiative and independence, and implement improvements in a time sensitive environment.Understanding of and working exposure to the rail industry is viewed favourably but not essential. Why work with CRRDA?On Cross River Rail you will not only work with the best but become your best.
