It includes the delivery of four new underground stations, two new above-ground stations, accessibility rebuilds for six stations, the construction of three new stations on the Gold Coast, and the introduction of a new world-class ‘ETCS' signalling system.This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to work on one of Australia's largest infrastructure projects and to be a part of something that will leave a legacy for generations to come. About the RoleThe purpose of the position is to provide support to the Contracts Advisor by supporting with contract correspondence and assisting the Delivery Commercial team with the management and resolution of contract issues.  The role requires building and maintaining strong working relationships with key representatives from the Delivery, Commercial, Project Controls and Legal teams.The role is part of the Delivery Commercial team and will report to the Contracts Advisor. Key Responsibilities:Prepare internal reporting and briefing material regarding commercial issues and claims.Edit and draft contract correspondence for the State Representative under the relevant contracts.Prepare and edit reports or briefing notes to assist Commercial Managers and other senior management as required.Assist with the research, consultation, development, implementation and management of commercial strategies and contract management frameworks that are required for the timely resolution of contractual issues.Support the Contracts Advisor and Commercial Delivery team with management and coordination of contract correspondence.Support the Contract Advisor with implementing and supporting systems, procedures, and training.Develop "super user" skills with TRIM and other key technology systems.Engage with appropriate Subject Matter Experts to understand project issues and help with appropriate commercial correspondence.Provide practical advice and assistance to Contract Managers and Commercial Managers to assist in resolution of contract correspondence issues and coordination of outgoing correspondence.Assist with the fostering of a culture based on good governance, commitment to excellence and a high standard of professional ethics ensuring that any interaction with the delivery teams operates in an environment based on high transparency, open communication, consultation and trust.Any other tasks and roles that may arise as directed by the Contracts Advisor. About You:The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following key competencies:Relevant experience in contracts administration or content management, previous exposure to Government infrastructure or construction projects is desirable.Ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of the Delivery Authority’s legislation, project deliverables, roles and functions.Tertiary qualification or relevant industryStrong interest in developing knowledge and skills in contract management and projectExcellent written communication skills with proven experience supporting the drafting and review of commercial correspondence and documentation.Sound relationship building skills with an awareness of the importance of stakeholder management. How To ApplyPlease submit your Resume by clicking on the apply link before the closing date of Friday 24th May, 2024.Please provide the following information for the selection panel to assess your suitability for this role:A maximum of one page cover letter addressing your suitability for this position which addresses the Key Competencies listed in this document.Your updated CV or resume. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are strongly encouraged to apply for all Cross River Rail Delivery Authority vacancies.Position Description May 2024 AUD Brisbane 4000
