These include accessibility rebuilds for eight surface stations, construction of three new stations on the Gold Coast; upgrades for stabling yards; track works and surface rail enhancements; and the introduction of a new ETCS digital signalling system. About the RoleAs a Testing and Commissioning Engineer – Rail Systems, you will play a key role supporting the testing, integration and staged systems enablement of Queensland’s next generation rail network as the Cross River Rail program transitions toward commissioning and operations. Working client side within the Lead Integrator environment, this role provides broad exposure across modern rail systems technologies and the practical realities of delivering safe, integrated outcomes across complex interfaces.This is an opportunity to deepen your rail systems engineering capability in a modern digital signalling environment, including exposure to ETCS and ATO integration, while learning from experienced Australian and international subject matter experts supporting the program. You will work closely with system leads, delivery partners and operational stakeholders to support disciplined delivery, strong technical coordination and readiness outcomes through test phases and staged enablement pathways.
