You’ll support the Delivery Manager by gathering information from site, understanding the status of works and contributing to design and delivery activities. You’ll add value by working closely with top tier contractors, experienced project leaders and technical specialists contributing to the delivery of our Rail, Integration and Systems program of works. Key areas of focus includes rail signalling & overhead wiring design, procurement, installation, and testing & commissioning. An electrical background would be beneficial.   It’s a rare chance to gain broad exposure, improve core engineering skills and contribute to a major program shaping Queensland’s future transport network.Working across our Brisbane construction sites, this role is primarily Monday to Friday but will require flexibility to occasionally work outside standard hours and on weekends to support activities scheduled to occur outside of peak rail network usage. We welcome applications from both recent graduates and more experienced engineers with site-based project experience. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Monitor and provide surveillance of project works when requested to ensure safety, quality and compliance.Provide support to the design process by coordinating reviews, contractor workshops, version control and distribution activities.Actively contribute to program meetings and workshops.Build an understanding of current and upcoming works across the surface rail and systems program.Liaise with technical resources to support resolution of issues and completion of projects works to specification.Assist with construction delivery requirements and ensure timely communication of issues.Support reporting deliverables including analysis and progress inputs.Assist with the resolution of Request for Information (RFIs) and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
