These include accessibility rebuilds for eight surface stations, construction of three new stations on the Gold Coast; upgrades for stabling yards; track works and surface rail enhancements; and the introduction of a new ETCS digital signalling system.About the RoleThe Project Support Officer position will provide executive support to a departmental head/Project Director within the Cross River Rail Delivery Authority. The executive support functions include diary and mailbox management and high level broader administration duties to support the wider team. This will include reporting, project governance, correspondence, meeting support and undertake procurement and finance tasks.The position is based in our modern corporate office in Brisbane’s CBD and is offered as a 2 year fixed term contract with possible extension.Key Responsibilities:The activities below provide some examples of the activities that could be undertaken:Coordinate diary and inbox management to support executive staff workload and priorities.Assist in editing, reviewing, and distributing written correspondence, including briefing notes, policies, letters, and project documents.Create and update project registers and trackers, keeping stakeholders informed of deadlines.Provide end-to-end administrative support, including creating spreadsheets, PowerPoints, and flowcharts.Track and file correspondence and documents in compliance with CRRDA policies and document control standards.Support procurement and contract management, including processing requests and tracking invoices.Provide secretariat support for internal and external governance bodies, including agenda preparation and minute-taking.Assist in preparing scheduled and ad hoc reports, coordinating stakeholder responses.Conduct research on various topics and provide summaries to executive leaders as requested.About You:The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following key competencies: Demonstrated ability to perform at a high level, broad range of team administrative support functions in a comparable work or project environment.Intermediate to advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
