Each station has been crafted to deliver a seamless, world-class passenger experience while enhancing Brisbane's urban landscape.The Delivery Manager, Underground Stations will lead the execution, assurance, and handover of fitout, façade, and external works for Cross River Rail’s four underground stations. Reporting to the Project Director, you will play a key leadership role, providing oversight and technical expertise to ensure that construction activities are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.This role will see you managing a delivery focused team including Area Managers and Engineers ensuring the Delivery Authority maintains a positive on-site presence to monitor progress, resolve technical issues, and drive construction excellence. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring the ability to navigate complex construction challenges, mitigate risks, support contracts management and foster collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.This opportunity is offered as a contract until December 2026 with possible extension and represents a rare chance to contribute to a transformative infrastructure project that will shape the future of transport in Southeast Queensland. Key Responsibilities:Drive a culture of safety excellence through visible leadership and proactive engagement.Manage monthly reporting and regular program reviews underground stations.Collaborate with internal teams, D&C subcontractors, and third-party stakeholders to resolve technical and commercial matters efficiently.Represent the Delivery Authority in meetings with D&C Subcontractor and third -party stakeholders.Provide leadership and mentoring to Area Managers and other team members to achieve safety, quality, and program milestones.Ensure compliance throughout the assurance process with project requirements to enable handover and acceptance.Provide input into engineering, design and standards reviews and expertise to support technical and quality issues resolution.Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, maintaining alignment with wider project interdependencies and milestones.Work proactively to resolve RFI’s NCR’s, defects and other quality issues.Assist with construction staging and work with stakeholders to manage station interfaces including building services, and public and routeway/ rail systems scope. About You:Proven senior management level experience leading the delivery of large scale and complex construction projects balancing time, cost and quality outcomes.Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to provide set strategic direction, motivate teams, foster collaboration and implement positive change and continuous improvement.Strong technical competence in building construction, including management, quality compliance, and resolution of construction issues for finishes, fitout and facades.Advanced interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships, influence and negotiate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.Strong communication skills with the ability to develop written reports, correspondence, briefs and presentations that meet audience requirements.Demonstrated experience in risk and contract management processes.Experience and a commitment to developing and maintaining a safety first culture.Tertiary qualifications in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline (highly regarded). Why work with CRRDA?On Cross River Rail you will not only work with the best but become your best.
