About the Role

We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Program Support Officer to join our Business Support team.

This role plays a key part in supporting the effective delivery of our Rainbow Region Kids Outside School Hours Care (OOSH) services and Sexual Health Hub, through enrolment administration, fee processing, OWNA system management and general office support.

This is a permanent part-time position working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, based primarily at our Lismore office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate data entry in the OWNA childcare management system (enrolments, bookings, attendances)
  • Confirm weekly attendance submissions
  • Administer inclusion support hours through OWNA
  • Support fee receipting, allocation and debt collection processes
  • Generate reports and analytical data from OWNA
  • Provide administrative support to the Rainbow Region Kids team
  • Build positive relationships with families, schools and stakeholders
  • Provide backup support for monthly billings reconciliation and Medicare batch error resolution (Best Practice)
  • Contribute to a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment

About You

Essential

  • Relevant administration qualifications and/or demonstrated experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills when working with families and service users
  • Ability to learn and apply administrative policies and procedures
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work under general supervision
  • Competent computer skills, including Microsoft Office 365 and digital platforms
  • Willingness to learn statutory and funding requirements for children’s services

Desirable

  • Experience using OWNA or similar childcare management systems

Additional Requirements

  • Current NSW Working With Children Check
  • National Police Check
