Company Overview:Coinford is a groundworks and concrete frame specialist that deliver contracts ranging from £1million to £50million throughout London and the Southeast of England.  This role works out of our Head office, Redeham Hall.Role Purpose/Objective:The Supply Chain Manager will take full responsibility for managing the subcontractor supply chain across all project phases — from pre-tender through to contract award, delivery, and performance evaluation.   • Visit sites to assess and document subcontractor performance
  • Maintain and develop the subcontractor database to ensure quality, reliability, and competitiveness
  • Resolve supply chain issues, including delays, quality concerns, and disputes, in a professional and timely manner

 Experience/skills required:

  •  Proven supply chain or commercial management experience within construction (groundworks or concrete frame preferred)
  • Background in quantity surveying or similar, with experience in subcontract tendering and cost control
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts and subcontractor performance management
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Commercially minded with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software
  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments

Qualifications:

  • Minimum GCSE or equivalent qualification in English and Mathematics
  • MCIPS or other recognised supply chain management qualification
