Skilled Groundwork Finisher

We’re looking for experienced finishers to deliver high-quality external works including slabbing, kerbing, edging, and block paving. 

• Experienced in kerbing, slab laying, edging, and block paving

• Able to read and work from drawings

• Confident in drainage works: laying concrete, clay, and plastic pipes of all sizes, testing and bedding correctly

• Competent in manhole benching and working with trench boxes, drag boxes, and manhole boxes

• Skilled in using pipe lasers and managing ground water with correct pump setups

• Knowledgeable in correct use of materials for drainage, road formation, kerbing, and external works (hard & soft landscaping)

• Capable of carrying out daily plant checks and reporting servicing needs

• 5+ years in skilled groundworks

• Worked as part of a finishing gang/team

• Additional CPCS/NPORS* tickets for plant operation (Telehandlers, Dumpers, Rollers)

• Reliability and good timekeeping

• Ability to work well with other trades and keep projects on track

• Right to work in the UK
