ROLE OVERVIEWWe are looking for experienced Pipelayers to join our groundwork teams on sites across Kent. You will play a key role in the installation of drainage systems and underground pipework, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to specification.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Laying and installing drainage pipes (clay, plastic and concrete)Setting out and working to levels and falls from drawings and laser equipmentInstalling manholes, chambers and associated drainage structuresBenching, concreting and surrounding pipeworkCarrying out deep drainage and trench workEnsuring correct alignment and gradient of pipelinesWorking closely with machine operators and groundwork teamsReading and interpreting drawings and technical specificationsMaintaining high health & safety standards at all timesREQUIREMENTS:CSCS Skilled Worker Blue Card(essential)Proven experience as a Pipelayer in drainage and groundworksStrong understanding of drainage systems, levels and gradientsAbility to read and interpret technical drawingsGood awareness of site health & safety practicesReliable, punctual and able to work well within a teamRight to work in the UKDESIRABLE:CPCS / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) tickets*Confined Spaces TrainingDeep drainage experienceExperience working with laser levelsDumper / Roller / Excavator tickets5–10+ years of groundwork or pipelaying experienceEstablished gangs or teams with proven ability to work together* Please note: to comply with client requirements, we can only accept NPORS cards that are CSCS-affiliated and carry the CSCS hologram.
