At Coinford, we’re proud to deliver high-quality groundwork and concrete frame projects across the UK. We’re looking for skilled and experienced groundworkers with strong drainage expertise to join our team.
The Role – Key ResponsibilitiesWe need all-round groundworkers who are confident in:
Internal, external, and plot drainage – creating safe, level areas and installing site drainage stacks correctly.
External works – including slabs, kerbs, and edgings.
Digging footings and concreting.
Reading and understanding levels and technical drawings.
Carrying out daily plant safety inspections and reporting service requirements promptly (Dumpers/Rollers).
Working safely around live services with strong knowledge of service avoidance techniques.
Managing time effectively and taking a proactive approach on site.
- CSCS Labourer or similar qualification
2+ years’ experience in groundworks, with strong drainage knowledge.
CPCS/NPORS* tickets for plant (Telehandlers, Dumpers, Rollers).
Experience working in gangs/teams (highly sought after).
Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism.
Strong teamwork – able to work alongside trades and operatives to deliver programmes on time.
Right to work in the UK.
