ROLE OVERVIEWWe are looking for experienced Finishers to join our groundwork and RC frame teams on a busy project in Sittingbourne, Kent. You will play a key role in the final stages of projects, ensuring all groundwork and concrete frame elements are completed to specification, on time and to a high standard of workmanship.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Carrying out finishing works to kerbs, edgings, slabs and concrete surfaces Ensuring all external works are completed to line, level and specificationCompleting snagging and final quality checks on groundwork packagesInstalling and finishing manholes, covers and framesTrowelling, patching and making good concrete and surfacesWorking from drawings and setting out details where requiredSupporting groundwork teams to bring projects to completionMaintaining a clean, safe and organised work areaAdhering to all site health & safety standards at all timesREQUIREMENTS:CSCS Card (essential)Proven experience as a Finisher within groundworks or concrete frame projectsStrong attention to detail and pride in high-quality workmanshipAbility to read and interpret drawingsGood understanding of levels, alignment and finishing standardsStrong awareness of site health & safetyReliable, punctual and able to work well with other tradesRight to work in the UKDESIRABLE:CPCS / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) tickets*Experience in kerbing, paving and external finishing worksKnowledge of concrete finishing techniquesExperience using laser levels or setting out equipmentDumper / Roller / Excavator tickets5+ years of experience in groundworks or finishing rolesEstablished gangs or teams with a strong track record* Please note: to comply with client requirements, we can only accept NPORS cards that are CSCS-affiliated and carry the CSCS hologram.
