The Employee Consultative Committee (ECC) currently has two (2) Employee Representative vacancies and we are seeking enthusiastic and committed individuals to fill these positions.The purpose of the committee is:2.1      Purpose of the Committee The Employee Consultative Committee is a forum for consultation on matters pertaining to the employment conditions of employees, including the ongoing implementation of the Enterprise Bargaining (Operations) Agreement No. 10 (2023).The Committeereceives, considers and informs change management proposals and may put forward comments, strategies, suggestions and proposals for improving the change proposal and/or for averting or mitigating any potential adverse effects, for the consideration of Management;receives and considers reports on action items as they pertain to the implementation of the Enterprise Agreement;receives and considers and puts forward suggestions for the improvement and successful implementation of new or updated employment related policies;receives reports concerning workplace health and safety, drug and alcohol testing, professional development, monitoring of labour hire, conversion from casual to permanent employment and other employment related reports as deemed appropriate.The commitment for being on the ECC is to attend one meeting each quarter or where necessary, an additional meeting may be held to address matters of urgency as requested by one of its members.
