Our Tree Establishment team are on the frontline directly contributing to Council’s tree canopy improvement strategy. In this role, our team members plant trees during the cooler months, and water for establishment during the warmer seasons.

About Our Team:
City Maintenance are equipped to care for open spaces in our beaches, reserves and parks, ensuring they are maintained and up to standard. This diverse portfolio is passionate and skilled in areas including property management and repair, irrigation, biodiversity, arboriculture, trees and sports turf, as well as program scheduling.
The Trees and Irrigation team is responsible for the development, enhancement and maintenance of trees and streetscapes, recreational reserves and sporting grounds. The team manage programmed and reactive work that involves detailed street tree pruning and care, and quality irrigation systems for attractive landscapes.
The Detail:
We currently have two full-time permanent positions available. The Tree Establishment Team Member position is classified at ME5 with a starting salary of $75,209 per annum + Super. The benefits of joining the City of Charles Sturt also include:
