About The Role:As a Property Maintenance Carpenter, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality reactive and programmed maintenance across Council buildings and facilities, undertaking a range of carpentry, painting and general maintenance tasks to ensure assets are safe, functional and well-presented. Working as part of the Property Maintenance Team, you will also support project work, maintain accurate records, and contribute to efficient service delivery, while meeting agreed timeframes, upholding trade standards, and operating plant and equipment safely and effectively.About You: You are an experienced tradesperson with strong carpentry and maintenance experience who takes pride in delivering quality work and contributing to a positive team environment. You bring proven capability across carpentry, painting and general maintenance, with the ability to interpret plans and deliver work to required standards. You demonstrate strong time management and can work both independently and collaboratively, with the communication skills to engage effectively with customers, contractors and stakeholders. You also have sound digital and record-keeping capability, a strong commitment to WHS and risk management, and a customer-focused approach to delivering positive community outcomes. A trade qualification in Carpentry and a current Driver’s Licence, including an LR Truck Licence, are essential.About Our Team:Civil and Property Maintenance comprises a range of teams that contribute to maintaining our roads, streets and buildings to ensure safety for our community.
