About The Role
This is a pivotal leadership role that will drive how our City grows, adapts and thrives into the future. Reporting to the General Manager City Futures, you will bring together a cohesive, long-term City Plan that reflects our Community Vision 2040 and addresses the challenges of growth, liveability, sustainability and resilience.
You’ll lead a multi-disciplinary team responsible for neighbourhood and precinct planning, major master plans, economic development initiatives, climate change resilience, and cultural development through oversight of the Woodville Town Hall. Your work will ensure the City of Charles Sturt continues to be a vibrant, sustainable, and future-focused place for our community.

With consideration of the release of the successful applicant from their substantive role, ideally the acting arrangements will commence on Monday 30 September 2025.
The placement will continue until the review of the required capability for the role moving forward has been completed. We anticipate the placement will be for a period of approximately four to five months.
