This 6 month placement offers the chance to apply your organisational and problem-solving skills to plan and deliver maintenance work across the City of Charles Sturt.
The Maintenance Scheduler is responsible for planning and tracking maintenance work across Council properties. Creating clear schedules to ensure the thorough and timely delivery of maintenance works. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, the Scheduler oversees maintenance programs with a proactive and preventative approach. Keeping our assets reliable, cost-effective, and safe for the community.
Key Responsibilities
· Schedule and monitor, as required, maintenance work that align to agreed service level agreements.
· Liaise with internal and external customers and clients to respond to requests for service and, in conjunction with the Work Group Leader or Coordinator, schedule these requests into the schedule of work.
· Where required liaise with external service providers to ensure timely resolution of maintenance work where it has been outsourced. Ensure associated work orders and purchase orders are completed/receipted.
· Assist to develop and document process for performance indicator dashboards and reports relating to asset and maintenance performance against agreed service standards.
· Actively deliver an innovative customer experience that’s effortless, delivered with care and exceeds our customers’ expectations.

Knowledge
· Knowledge of maintenance principles and practices
· Knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling systems & tools.
· Understanding of quality assurance principles
· Knowledge of Building Assets and asset condition assessment
· Knowledge of risk assessing customer requests for prioritising work relating to building and property requests
· Knowledge of customer requests and customer service principles
