About the OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced leader to step into the Coordinator Civil Construction role on a short-term acting basis. The role provides hands-on leadership of civil construction and infrastructure delivery teams, overseeing the safe, efficient delivery of capital and operational projects across roads, footpaths, lighting and stormwater, while balancing people leadership, project delivery and stakeholder engagement.About YouYou are a capable leader ready to step into an acting role, with experience in civil infrastructure delivery and the ability to work collaboratively with teams and stakeholders.Experience supporting or leading civil construction projects, with a focus on safety, delivery and budgetsWorking knowledge of project, procurement and contract managementStrong communication skills and commitment to Council valuesRelevant experience and a current driver’s licence (formal qualifications desirable).Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will provide leadership and oversight of civil infrastructure project delivery, including people leadership, financial and contract management, resource optimisation, safety and compliance, and effective engagement with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, value-for-money outcomes for the community.The DetailsThis position is classified at Level 8 and will be offered on a full-time, fixed-term basis from 23 March to 27 April 2026 (approx. 6 weeks).
