About The Role:
As Coordinator Community Safety, you’ll lead a passionate team responsible for the delivery of Council’s regulatory services, with a strong focus on customer experience, community wellbeing and statutory compliance. This role operates in a high contact, complex regulatory environment and requires a direct link to purpose, strong decision making, clear direction and consistent leadership.
You’ll shape the team’s future direction through strategic planning, service innovation, and operational excellence, ensuring alignment with Council’s Vision and priorities. The role champions progressive, contemporary practices and drives the ongoing evolution of community safety services.
Through strong leadership and collaboration, you will build team capability, create improved ways of working and ensure regulatory services are delivered fairly, safely and with care for our community.

About Our Team:
The Community Safety Team is focused on adopting a proactive and contemporary approach to effectively deliver a broad range of regulatory related activities while ensuring a positive customer experience. Actively engaged within the community, the team builds strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers by offering accurate information and guidance to support compliance with legislative requirements.
The Detail:
The position is offered on a permanent fulltime basis and is classified at Level 7, with a starting salary of $123,152.65 per annum + Super + Annual Leave Loading.
A current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (Police check) must be maintained for the duration of the employment period in this prescribed position.
