Be on the industry-leading edge with us and help shape our world for years to come.What you’ll do: As a General Manager – Energy Infrastructure, you will have a key role in optimising project timelines and prioritisation to ensure successful, on-time, and within-budget completion. This role will drive excellence and innovation in energy infrastructure management.Collaborate with Business Development Managers, Commercial, Project Directors and Operations Managers to deliver technical and engineering support during the development, delivery, construction and operations phases of Energy Infrastructure’s projects.Partner with Project Directors in the development of key project contracts, including EPC Contracts, with a particular focus on technical elements, including Principal’s Project Requirements, Minimum Performance Standards, Commissioning, Testing and Functional RequirementsDevelopment and implementation of project Quality Assurance plans, incorporating detailed plans for design reviews, oversight of fabrication of key components, site monitoring, investigations and test witnessing.Manage transmission network connection requirements for energy projects, including the engagement of expert consultants to undertake network modelling and support generator performance standard negotiations.Work closely with the ECI participants, EPC Contractors and OEMs to optimise the design and explore Value Engineering opportunities.Monitor and manage technical engineering risks, issues and requirements to ensure that pre-emptive action can be taken to address potential problems, including establishing mechanisms for proactive escalation reporting.Oversee and ensure effective safety in design, construction and operations practices and processes are entrenched in our project development and delivery life cycle.Partner with Operations Management to support optimal performance and maintenance of assets under ownership and/or operations.  Skills & Experience We understand that you may have some but not all of what’s listed below – and that is ok!
