We’re looking for a Trainer & Assessor (or someone ready to step into one) to deliver hands-on training and field-based assessments across our gas network. You’ll play a key role in building capability across our workforce, helping ensure our teams are safe, compliant and set up for success.
What you’ll get to do
- Deliver hands-on, practical training across our gas network, helping build capability in our field teams
- Carry out workplace assessments and work closely with leaders to ensure competency and compliance requirements are met
- Plan and prepare training sessions, including materials, equipment and field-based activities
- Partner with the business to coordinate training delivery in line with operational needs
- Contribute to improving training programs, content and assessment tools over time
Skills & Experience
We understand that you may have some but not all of what’s listed below – and that is ok! We encourage you to apply if you feel that you have depth of experience in some of the below and we can develop your skills further through ‘on the job’ learning
- Trade or technical background (Utilities, Civil, Plumbing/Gas or similar)
- Experience in gas distribution, construction or a similar field environment
- TAE40122 (Certificate IV in Training & Assessment) - desirable, not essential
- Confident using systems and MS Office
- Strong communication skills and a practical, hands-on approach
- Current C Class Driver’s Licence
