Lead the team at the centre of WA’s gas network performance.
As the Network Control Manager, you’ll lead the heartbeat of WA’s gas distribution network. You’ll bring strategic clarity and operational direction to Network Control and Operations, ensuring the network runs safely, reliably and efficiently, every day.
You’ll take ownership of network monitoring and measurement, maintenance of critical gas facilities, incident response, and operational planning. Your leadership will safeguard network integrity, uphold regulatory requirements and support our customer and growth commitments.
You’ll also play a key role in shaping how we execute operational strategy, align with asset lifecycle planning, partner with capital delivery programs and build capability across our Operations teams.

Exposure & Experience You’ll Bring
- Leading operations across gas distribution assets including pressure regulation and metering infrastructure.
- Managing Network Control functions responsible for monitoring, planning and customer coordination.
- Delivering and optimising asset maintenance programs across multiple delivery partners.
- Working confidently within regulatory frameworks, Safety Cases and audit environments.
- Managing budgets, workforce planning and contractor performance.
- Building effective relationships across engineering, projects, regulators and delivery partners.
- Proven leadership experience in utilities, infrastructure or complex operational settings.
Qualifications
- Relevant postsecondary qualification and significant experience in gas pipeline or distribution systems.
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Commerce (desirable but not essential).
Your Background
- Experience leading operational teams in gas, utilities or heavy infrastructure environments.
- Capability across asset performance, maintenance planning and operational risk management.
- A confident communicator and influencer who can navigate complexity and drive operational outcomes.
- Strong understanding of Australian regulatory and safety requirements.
